Aug 28, 2021 - Bobber pushed the latest OTA update at 06:30 PDT today.

The following updates occurred in this OTA:

• Bobber Miner Firmware updated to 1.0.2.19

• Reboot and Resync features added to the Diagnoser

Issue Resolved

The OTA will revive miners with a red/yellow light whose diagnoser showed 'docker container not found'. They will start syncing properly again once the update is received.

New Diagnoser Features

Reboot

1. This feature power cycles the miner without physically having to unplug and plug the miner back to power.

2. The hotspot LED will turn red once it starts rebooting.

3. Using this feature will require that you input the username (bobcat) and password (miner).

Resync the Miner

1. This feature deletes all blockchain data and lets the hotspot resync to the blockchain from 0.

2. The hotspot LED will turn yellow once the resync starts.

3. The blockchain and docker data will be deleted and rebuilt from 0.

4. It takes 5 minutes for the snapshot to be saved locally. Once completed, a progress page will appear (see below).

5. Using this feature will require that you input the username (bobcat) and password (miner).

Important Reminders

1. Users can check both Helium and Bobcat firmwares by running the Diagnoser.

2. Firmware update is scheduled to push in batches. All Bobcat fleet should receive the latest update within 24 hours.

3. Hotspots connected to Ethernet/Wifi will receive these updates automatically. No manual intervention is needed. You do not need to open any ports.

4. If your hotspot happens to be offline at the time of the update, it will still receive the OTA when it reconnects to the internet.
