In this guide, we break down each possible way to set up multiple radios for indoor and outdoor setups. Each diagram highlights the exact wiring instructions, minimum hardware and specifications needed to operate multiple radios.

Indoor Basic Setup for Multiple Radios

Simple indoor

This is the most basic setup that you’ll likely encounter in setting up multiple Indoor Radios. This method only requires adding an additional switch and ethernet cables to each radio. All power to the radios and accessories utilize the OEM provided power supplies. 

 

Indoor Advanced Setup for Multiple Radios

Indoor Advanced

This alternative method for setting up multiple Indoor Radios is slightly more advanced and requires an additional PoE+ (Power Over Ethernet) switch and ethernet cables to each radio. All power and internet bandwidth to the radios is supplied by the PoE+ switch.  

Note: Choose PoE+ switches and accessories carefully in actual deployment. Power requirements vary based on product types and number of equipment connected.

 

Outdoor Basic Setup for Multiple Radios

Outdoor Simple

This is the most basic setup that you’ll likely encounter in setting up multiple Outdoor Radios. This method only requires adding an additional gigabit switch and ethernet cables to each radio and PoE+ power injector. All power to the radios and accessories utilize the OEM provided power supplies; in this scenario it’s utilizing the PoE+ power injectors provided by the radio manufacture.
